Tipi Pricing

 

Cover - The canvas cover is a half circle shape that spreads around the poles and provides shelter. The two sides of the half circle are joined together at the front with lacing pins from just above the door up to the smoke hole. The rounded side of the half circle is at the bottom of the tipi (teepee). The tipi (teepee) cover is off-white in color. Traditional or modern designs can be painted on the tipi (teepee) cover with a high quality latex outdoor house paint before it is pitched.

Poles - The poles form the framework or skeleton of the tipi (teepee). They are made of gently tapered lodgepole pine and bound together near the top with manila rope. Smoke flap poles are included in a set. The people of the Plains considered the lodgepole very valuable. Legend has it that at times a pony would be taken in trade for a single pole.

Pitching Accessories - This includes complete pitching instructions, manila rope to tie the poles, willow lacing pins and hardwood stakes. Deck anchoring kits and steel stakes are available by request.
